About this tool

Is my data sent to a server?

Is MD5 secure?

No. MD5 and SHA-1 are broken for security purposes (collisions can be created). Use them only for checksums; use SHA-256 or better for integrity, and a slow algorithm like bcrypt or Argon2 for passwords.
